Other Healthcare Support Roles
For other support roles, Charisma will assign only the training that applies to the actual duties and work setting. Examples may include unit support, supply support, clerical support in clinical areas, patient observation, or other non-licensed healthcare support functions.
Applicable modules may include infection prevention, confidentiality, patient rights, safe lifting, emergency response, workplace violence prevention, hazard communication, equipment safety, and department-specific orientation.
Conditional / Facility-Specific Requirements
- Respiratory Protection / N95 — only when required by job duties or facility policy.
- Special isolation or outbreak procedures — according to facility direction.
- Safe patient handling equipment — device-specific competency where used.
- Behavioral health / de-escalation training — only for assignments where applicable.
- Workplace violence prevention — according to role and facility requirements.
- Department-specific equipment — competency before independent use.
- Facility orientation — local emergency codes, reporting systems, PPE stations, waste streams, and escalation pathways.
Competency Validation
Training completion should be paired with role-appropriate competency validation where the worker will operate equipment, transport patients, handle hazardous chemicals, perform terminal cleaning, or carry out other tasks with direct safety implications.
Competency may be validated through documented experience, direct observation, return demonstration, supervisor sign-off, or another facility-approved method.
