Healthcare Staffing FAQ

Charisma SPD’s Healthcare Staffing FAQ answers common questions from facilities, candidates, placed staff, and supervisors. Learn how to request healthcare staff, apply for available opportunities, complete credentialing and onboarding, submit or approve timesheets, and access assignment support through Charisma SPD’s staffing services and portals.

For Healthcare Facilities

Charisma SPD supports temporary, per-diem, contract, and project-based healthcare staffing across selected nursing, sterile processing, operating-room/procedural support, patient transport, environmental services, and other healthcare support roles based on active client needs.
Use the Request Staff page to submit the facility, contact, role, number of staff, department, shift, desired start date, assignment length, schedule, urgency, and other requirements. Our team reviews the request before follow-up.
Start time depends on the role, schedule, credential requirements, candidate availability, facility onboarding requirements, and contracting status. Submitting a request does not guarantee a specific start date.
Yes. The appropriate assignment model is confirmed based on the facility’s need, schedule, duration, and contract terms.
Role, shift, department, location, staff count, desired start date, assignment length, schedule pattern, urgency, required credentials, experience expectations, and any facility-specific onboarding requirements.
Placed employees submit weekly timesheets through the Employee Portal. Authorized supervisors use the supervisor approval workflow. Approved time records then move into the internal payroll and billing process.

For Healthcare Professionals

Submit the Apply for Healthcare Jobs form with your experience, credentials, availability, preferred setting, and assignment preferences. One application gives the staffing team the information needed to consider you for active opportunities.
Your application is reviewed against active client needs and role requirements. If your background appears aligned with an opportunity, the staffing team may contact you for additional information, credentialing, or next steps.
No. Placement depends on client demand, role requirements, credentialing, availability, scheduling, and successful completion of applicable onboarding steps.
Requirements vary by role and assignment. They may include professional licenses or certifications, health and immunization documents, identification and employment documentation, training records, and facility-specific credentialing items.
Placed employees use the Charisma Healthcare Employee Portal for employee onboarding, weekly timesheet submission, training, and assignment-support resources.
Assigned Fire Safety, HazCom/SDS, PPE, Exposure and Incident Reporting, Bloodborne Pathogens, Infection Prevention, HIPAA/Confidentiality, and Workplace Harassment and Discrimination modules are available in the Employee Portal.
Use the staffing-support contact option in the Employee Portal or contact Charisma SPD through the Contact Us page. Do not submit patient information or protected health information through public forms.
